Promotional Information

Promoting good spoken English has long been an area of concern in our schools. As teachers we have to ensure that our students acquire an intelligible level of English, provide appropriate and meaningful opportunities for its use and seek ways and means of improving the standard of spoken English.

This seminar responds to these needs while supporting the aims of Singapore's Speak Good English Movement -- SGEM. In this seminar, participants will gain insights into the proper use of the voice and discover useful strategies for improving students' accuracy and intonation. Workshops will reveal how story telling, professional-style presentations and debates can bolster students' confidence in public speaking.
