Membership You can join ELLTA(S) as an ordinary, associate, or corporate member at any time of the year. The membership period is a year from the date of joining.
Ordinary membership is open to English Language and Literature teachers who show evidence of participation in English Language and Literature education or disciplines related to it and on contributions arising from it. All Ordinary Members shall have full rights and privileges, including attending General Meetings, to participate in its affairs, to vote and to hold office in the Association.
Any person concerned with English Language and Literature education who does not qualify for Ordinary Membership may apply for Associate Membership. Associate Members are entitled to all privileges of membership, but may not vote or hold office in the Association.
Schools and educational institutions at all levels (primary, secondary or pre-university) are eligible to join as corporate members. As a corporate member, an institution shall be entitled to nominate five persons from its staff as individual members. Such (corporate) individual memberships shall be transferable, but shall not entitle the holder to a vote. Corporate Members are entitled to all privileges of membership, but may not vote or hold office in the Association. The completed form should be returned, with payment, to: Dr Maha Sripathy ↑ Top |
